Aren’t they just brilliant! They are one of a few breeds of dog that have natural dreadlocks, and as such they look like flying shammy cloth! They are at their most hilarious when jumping (which would explain the sheer quantity of photos of them jumping over things on Google images). On a more serious note, they apparently have a great temperament, they are quick and agile despite their strange coats, and they are fairly intelligent. On the downside, they are quite hard to groom and have to be trimmed regularly. They also need to be washed frequently and you need to make sure they don’t end up becoming matted – matting can be very painful and uncomfortable for your dog.

The Tea Cup Persian

Small cats are on the rise, as people are finding themselves in smaller accommodation arrangements. Therefore, small cats are a lot more practical, because they need less space. They are distinctively Persian, but fully grown, will only reach about 8 inches tall! That is tiny. Unfortunately, they are just as likely to get the same diseases and ailments that are common in full sized Persians, so they can get costly when you add up the potential vet bills. They are, however, impossibly cute, and if money is not an issue but space is, they could be the perfect cat for you! And as someone who is not a cat fan, I have certainly fallen in love with them.

The Bashkir Curly

I must say, until quite recently, I had never seen a curly horse. We are brought up with images of sleek smooth horses with long and glossy manes. So a curly horse is quite the surprise. And you would think the fact that they are not commonly used for sport means they are hard to train – however this is completely the opposite. They have great temperaments and respond to training fantastically.
