Florida Man April 21, 2020 – Blame It On the Virus
MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Florida man, realized the consequences of running from law enforcement.
A deputy on patrol spotted a man wanted on multiple warrants, according to a post on the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
The patrol on duty requested backup as soon as he spotted the suspect, William Ames. Another officer came with a K-9 named Tipster.
The suspect then started running as soon as he saw the deputies.
But when Ames spotted the officers, he started running as fast as he could.
A video shows how Tipster the K9’s impressive tracking skills found Ames in a wooded area through smell. Tipster jumped on Ames, which made Ames scream repeatedly.
And Ames explained to the police that he thought no one was looking for him because of coronavirus.
Florida Man April 21, 2020 – Broke Into A House Because of Zombies
DELTONA, Fla. – Florida Man worried about zombies; broke into a home, and stole belongings, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
The Deltona homeowner woke up to the sound of someone rummaging through their drawers around 3 AM.
According to Volusia County Sheriff’s Office report, the victim saw the 31-year-old Patrick Ray standing in his living room. Ray walked out of the house when he saw the victim.
According to the report, the victim noticed missing his shorts, wallet, and house keys. He woke up his son, and the suspect came back minutes later, explaining that he thought the zombies were out to get him and was scared to be outside.
The homeowner made sure that Ray wouldn’t leave his house until the deputies arrived.
The home surveillance video showed Ray entering a gold Chevrolet parked in the driveway, where he took the house keys to get inside.
According to the authorities, the suspect came outside the house wearing the victim’s heavy coat.
Ray took a pink selfie stick, a Bluetooth speaker, wallet, shorts, jacket, and keys and put them all inside the Kia car inside the house.
Police arrived around 3:19 AM to arrest Ray and charge him with two counts of burglary of a conveyance and unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling.
Final Thoughts
